"We enjoyed our stay immensely, the apartment was great. We rented a car from the airport as there was little difference in the price compared to a transfer I would say that a car is not essential for your stay but it gave us great flexibility enabling us to travel around the area at will. There are some beautiful places to visit. Everything you could wish for is within 10 minutes walk there are lots of restaurants and pubs close by but not close enough to interfere with your stay we were there over the New Year and went out on New Years Eve and celebrated the coming of 2009. I would recommend this to anyone without hesitation and I would return to it in a flash if I ever return to the area. Flights and Car Hire

A 25% deposit is required on booking with full balance payable 8 weeks prior to your holiday

A £50 deposit for breakages/lost keys is payable with your balance and refundable 14 days after your return

Whilst it can't be guaranteed, we do try not to take incoming guests on the same day as departing guests with late flights, enabling you to use the apartment as soon as you arrive and until it is time to leave for your flight.  It is, therefore, very important that you notify us of your flight times as soon as possible.

Enjoy the many water sports on offer at the three nearby beaches, with many more beaches just a few minutes drive away.  La Zenia beach is a leisurely 20 minute stroll away and is an award winning Blue Flag beach with golden sands and topaz blue sea.  Here you can enjoy a Thai massage from the comfort of your sun lounger (40 minutes of pure bliss).  La Zenia has an abundance of bars and restaurants catering for every taste superb facilities to suit all age groups.  Close by is the Orihuela Costa Leisure Complex with excellent facilities including tennis, gymnasium, saunas and a large swimming pool.  A short drive or bus ride will take you into the cosmopolitan resort of Torrevieja with its Friday market and many cafe bars and restaurants, harbour, marina and leisure complex.  From here you can take a boat trip to the small island of Tabarca

Jet skis at La Zenia Beach and Campoamor or get towed on a giant banana.

Quad bikes and go-karting for the advanced, novices and children is close to the apartments - great fun for all the family.

Horse riding for the novice and experienced riders at:

Dhesea de Campoamor - (accompanied by an instructor, you can ride out into the countryside or use the indoor school)

Club Hipico is just past Villamartin Golf course.  Lessons are provided and up to four people can ride out in a group into the surrounding countryside.

El Refugio at Guardamar offers 60 minutes riding out with a guide or 45 minute lessons in riding school. 

Scuba Diving Experience scuba diving in the Mediterranean to discover just why diving can be so exciting.  Anyone in good average health can try this underwater thrill

Shopping: Take a trip into Alicante and Torrevieja plus there are several markets in the area on different days of the week.

Orihuela Sports Complex:  Have a game of tennis, work out at the gym or just laze around the pool.

Las Ramblas: Designed by Jose Gancedo, this really beautiful course was opened in 1991 by the owners of Villamartin.  The course has been built in the hills with lots of pine trees and rolling fairways.  Some narrow fairways demand accuracy or you'll end up in the woods with the bears!

Villamartin: Located on the Orihuela Costa and is probably one of the best known courses in the area.  The course is not too long and is well adapted to the natural surroundings and terrain.  Being located in the lowest part of the valley mean it is not very undulating.  There is plenty of Mediterranean vegetation as well as thick woods and there's a natural precipice you need to avoid.  A number of holes have water hazards.  The excellent design offers wide variety giving enthusiasts the chance to use all 14 clubs.

Campoamor: Designed by Carmelo Gracia Caselles and opened in 1989 the layout of this course is suited to both the professional player and the amateur.  The fairways are wide and long but the greens and the slope of the fairways can be big challenges. Fairway shots can be very difficult as some greens are on high ground following the natural contours of the terrain, protected by bunkers and exposed to the wind.  Campoamor is a course for very big hitters having the longest par 3 of any course in the area.  The Clubhouse has excellent facilities and the Pro Shop is very large offering a wide variety of clothing and equipment.There is also a practice driving range and 2 Putting greens.  The course is located close to Las Ramblas. In fact the entrances to each of the clubs are within 200 metres of one another.Despite their proximity they are very different courses.
